CTET 2020 paper 1 and paper 2 examinations will be held on 5th July 2020 as per the recent notification released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Exam Pattern of CTET 2020


  1. The exam is separated into two papers, first paper (CTET Paper 1) tests the candidate’s ability to teach from first to fifth grade and the second paper (CTET Paper 2) from sixth to eighth grade. Candidates can appear in only one paper or both.
  2. 2.30 hours of time will be given to complete the exam. Paper-1 examination will be taken on July 5, 2020 from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Paper-2 examination will be conducted on the same day from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
  3. Multiple choice questions will be asked and the mode of the examination is offline. Every question weighs 1 mark each and no negative marking is applicable for any wrong answer. The examination is taken in both Hindi and English languages and it consists of a total of 150 marks from different subjects.
