Group discussions commonly referred to as GD has become an inseparable part of admission to best MBA colleges naming few such as IIM’s, IMT, etc. Group Discussions play a prominent role in selecting the best candidates among the best. Group discussion (GD) is a comprehensive technique to judge the suitability of an individual for admission, scholarship, job, etc. A GD is of 20-25 minutes wherein a topic is presented to the group members for discussion. While the discussion is going on, the panelists observe them for their leadership quality, communication ability, clarity of thoughts and ability to present an argument convincingly.


Skills that are judged in Group Discussion


Group Discussion is an effective way to judge a candidate's ability to work in a group.
