CLAT and AILET are the major law entrance exams of India. These exams help you to get into top law colleges of India. There have been a lot of changes in this year's CLAT and AILET 2020 exam because of the obvious reason of COVID-19. I have given the updated list of Exam pattern and Syllabus of these exams. Also some updates about the exams mode, mock test are given below. According to the latest updates of the CLAT 2020 Exam :


Exam pattern for CLAT 2020 Exam:


  1. Maximum marks : 150
  2. Duration : 2 hours
  3. Multiple choice : 150 questions 
  4. Negative markings :  0.25 Mark for each wrong answer
  5. Mode : Online


Syllabus of CLAT 2020:


  1. English language: 28-32 questions
  2. Current Affairs, including GK:  35-39 questions
  3. Legal Reasoning : 35-39 questions
  4. Logical Reasoning : 28-32 questions
  5. Quantitative Techniques : 13-17 questions 


  1. The CLAT 2020 Exam will be held on August 22, 2020 (Saturday).


2. Deadline for online registration form has been extended till 10th July 2020.



3. The mode of the test shall be conducted through a computer-based, online, centred based test. This year the exam will not be pen-paper mode. It will be conducted at your nearby centre through a computer.


4. The full list of examination centres for the CLAT 2020 will be notified to all candidates on July 1, 2020.


5. All registered candidates shall:

  1. Select or reconfirm their test centres
  2. They can withdraw their registration by July 20, 2020.


6. Mock tests will be conducted by the consortium to get an idea about the test application and interface. Since the exam is conducted online you need to get familiar with the application process and interface.


7. The application fee shall be refunded if requested

  1. A candidate who withdraws from CLAT 2020 their application fee shall be refunded after the deduction of Rs 400 for SC/ST candidates and Rs 500 for all other candidates towards processing charges.
  2. Refunds will be made by July 18, 2020

Exam pattern of AILET 2020:


  1. Maximum Marks :  150
  2. Duration : 1.5 hours
  3. Multiple Choice: 15 Question 
  4. Negative marking: 0.25 Marks for each wrong answers
  5. Mode: Offline


Syllabus for AILET 2020 Exam


  1. Verbal Ability: 35 questions
  2. Mathematics: 10 questions
  3. Logical Reasoning: 35 questions
  4. General Awareness: 35 questions
  5. Legal Aptitude: 35 questions             

              

  1. The AILET 2020 Exam will be held on August 18, 2020 (Tuesday)


2. Deadline for online registration form has been extended till 7th of July 2020


3. Mode of test for AILET 2020 shall be conducted through a computer-based, online, remotely proctored test.


4. Admit cards for AILET 2020 will be released on 27 July 2020.


5. The application fee shall be refunded:

  1. Where a candidate with dread from AILET 2020, their application fee shall be refunded. The link will be active from 1st -7th July.


6. Exam date: 18th August(Tuesday), 2020

         Time : 10:00 to 11:30


7. No reservation for OBC, EWS and Delhi candidates.
