Army Public School Recruitment 2020 has published a notification for the post of PGT, TGTs and PRTs at various schools of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Army public school teacher by visiting the official website of the department. Eligibility Criteria for Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts:


The eligibility criteria for a Army Public school teacher and non-teacher is as below:


  1. TGT - Graduate (subject in which job is required)
  2. B.Ed. And equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks in each.
  3. If the candidate has not obtained 50% marks in graduation, but has attained 50% or more marks in the post-graduation, then the candidate is eligible to apply.
  4. Along with this the candidate must score 60% marks in CTET / TET.
  5. Applicants must have passed an online screening test conducted by AWES and have a valid score.
  6. TGT Music - Graduate in Music from a recognized University.


Age Limit:


  1. For Fresher’s– Below 40 years
  2. Age limit for Experienced Applicants- Below 57 years



Army Public School Recruitment 2020: Application Fees and Selection Process


For this recruitment in Army Public School, the applicant has to pay 500 Rs for general category and there is no application fee for candidates under reserved categories. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the basis of:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Interview
  3. Document Verification


What are the steps to Apply for Army Public School Recruitment 2020?


Step 01: The candidate needs to go to the official website of Army Public School using any browser.

Step 02: If you are already registered, click on the “existing user” button on the home page, otherwise click on the “New user” button.

Step 03: Now log in with your login credential and password.

Step 04: On the newly opened tab, click on the link titled “Army Secondary School Teacher Notification 2020”.

Step 05: After downloading the notification on your device, read all the details.

Step 06: If you have thoroughly researched and are satisfied, then open the “ON-LINE Registration” link.

Step 07: Enter all the required information such as Name, Gender, Age, Category, Address, Contact Number and Email ID in the specified format.

Step 08: Pay the exam fees online using your Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking or Bank Challan.

Step 09: Attach your (i) Passport-size photographs (iii) Signatures, (iii) Certificates, (iv) DOB proof.

Step 10: After checking all details, click “Submit”.

Step 11: After registering online, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered email and phone number.

Step 12: Download the copy of the application and take a print out.
