NIFT exam is an entrance exam that is conducted by the National Institute of Fashion and Technology(NIFT). NIFT is one of the top designing Institutes in India. There are many NIFT domestic centres in India like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Patna, Shillong, Raebareli and Srinagar. The candidates need to first appear for the GAT exam, after they qualify in GAT exam then they are eligible for giving CAT exam.
For the admission of Undergraduate course the test takers need to give all the above tests that is CAT, GAT and situation test. Whereas the postgraduate students need to give CAT and GAT but instead of situation test they have group discussion and personal interview.

The GAT paper is a pen and paper mode test with the duration of 2 hours. This test is specially designed to judge the Reasoning, Logical and creative skills of the candidate.

This entrance test assesses your creative and imaginative skills, in addition the questions are framed in such a way that they test your general awareness, observation, visualisation skills. Besides being good at sketching you need to be good at these skills.
2. Improve speed
For a good NIFT Exam preparation strategy you must work on your speed. Having a great creativity and visualisation skill will not matter if you do not have a good speed. The whole idea of this test is to showcase your creative skills within a stipulated time. If you do not have a good speed then this test might be difficult for you.
3. Solve sample paper
Practice a good amount of sample paper as it will help you in increasing your speed for writing this test as well as will give you an idea about the paper pattern of the paper.
