State Board is defined as the board which is implemented in schools that are under the state government for the development of students.

Different states have their own state boards where the regional language and culture are taught to the students. Students study the history of the particular state followed by the rituals and culture. The state board depends upon the standard of education provided to the students.

On the other hand, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts board examinations for classes 10th and 12th. CBSE board is considered as one of the most important boards. Moreover, the majority of schools follow the CBSE board. Now let’s discuss the differences between the two.

Now coming to the ICSE Board, ICSE is an education board undertaken and implemented by some private schools for secondary education. ICSE is designed in accordance with the New Education Policy (1986). ICSE full form is the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education.

Now students often wonder, CBSE or ICSE which is better for future? Well, the CBSE board is better than the ICSE board and there are several reasons to prove it.

CBSE:

  3. CBSE is a national board and includes entrance examinations like IIT, AIEEE and many more.
  4. The NCERT books provided under the CBSE board helps you in preparing for other exams like IAS and IPS.

ICSE:
