Security services are often attractive to young people who dream of becoming a leader and serving their country. These security services offer jobs in the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Medical and Engineering Services, Department of JAG or in the Education Corps with respect, dignity and job opportunities.


Every year, thousands of aspirants want to attempt the Defense exam to fulfill their dream of serving with the famous army. Compared to this, security entrance exams are conducted twice a year to provide more opportunities to join the Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.

CDS Analysis 


The UPSC or Union Public Service Commission conducts the Defense Security Service (CDS) examination twice a year for various branches of the Indian Armed Forces including Air Force, Army and Navy. Exams are usually held in February and November. Candidates must be graduates to apply for the CDS exam.

 

AFCAT exam 


The Indian Air Force conducts the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) exam twice a year (in February and August). This is one of the most coveted exams among other defense exams for engineers. The candidates selected through the AFCAT exam serve in either Flying Branch (Short Service Commission), or, Technical Branch (Short Service & Permanent Commission), or Ground Duty Branch (Short Service & Permanent Commission). The CAPF Deputy Commander (AC) exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

CAPF AC exam candidates are reserved in Border Security Force (BSF) / Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) / Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) / Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) / Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) . List of security tests after graduation
