Office of the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam Police has published a notification for the recruitment of a Constable/Guardsman (Grade III.). The notification is published for filling up 451 vacant posts. Eligible aspirants can apply for the Post from the official website on or before 30th June 2020.

The date and venue of Physical Standard Test / Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test will be updated to Applicant by email, SMS and various other means and through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in).

Eligibility Criteria:  


  1. Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen
  2. Age Relaxation: 5 (five) years to SC, ST(P) and ST(H), ) 3 (three) years OBC/MOBC.

4.Medical standard: Candidates must not have knocked knee, flat foot or squint eye, and they should not be colour blind. They should be liberated from any physical distortions and liberated from infections, for example, diabetes, hernia, heaps, respiratory sicknesses, or other affliction. The distant vision should be 6/6 and Near vision should be normal i.e. without wearing of glasses. 


Salary:


Salary of Rs. 14000- 60500/-, with Grade pay of Rs 5600/-(Pay Band-II).


Selection Procedure: 


Applicants whose applications are found correct will be called for the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Productivity Tests (PET).


PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST:

PST will carry no marks. In this test measurement of height, weight, and chest (male only) will be done.a Medical Officer will examine candidates for a check-up like knock knee, vision test, colour blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities etc.


PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET):

40 Marks: The candidates will undergo PET once he cleared the PST.


Male Candidates: 

Race: 3200 mtrs. race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).

 Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump 


 Female Candidates

 Race: 1600 mtrs. race to be completed within 08 minutes 

 Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump
