NAT Banner

 Indian Air Force (IAF) has published a notification for the recruitment of Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The notification is published for filling up 256 vacant posts. Eligible aspirants can apply for the Post from the official website from 15 June 2020 to 14 July 2020.

The Examination will be conducted from 19th September and 20 September 2020.

Educational Qualification for AFCAT 2 recruitment 2020


Flying Branch

 Applicant must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics and Graduation/BE/B Tech degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

                                                                         OR

Applicant should clear Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.


Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

Applicant must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics and BE/B Tech degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the Aeronautical engineering has two branches i.e. Electronics and mechanical, and standards are different depending on the source.


Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branches)

The applicant must be a Graduate / Postgraduate to apply. However, in the qualifying test, the applicant must have received at least 60 percent marks. 


Selection Procedure for AFCAT 2 recruitment 2020


Indian Air Force (IAF) will comprise the entire selection process, including the examination ranking, interview, and community debate. Applicants who have appeared for AFCAT 2 2020 will be expected to pass all the recruitment rounds to be chosen in three Indian Air Force positions. Only applicants who are going to clear the AFCAT test will be called up for further stages. Besides that, applicants would have to turn up for the final medical round. 


AFCAT Salary


Rs 56,100 Per Month (the Officer will be put at level 10 in the VIIth CPC Pay Matrix-56,100-1,10,700).
