Detailed NEET syllabus for chemistry will be posted or released by NTA with an attached information brochure. Medical aspirants need to regularly check the notifications for successfully registering for NEET 2020 Exam.

Along with the chemistry syllabus, we need to be up to date and well know about other subjects' syllabus also. Like NEET physics, chemistry also contains the same number of questions which is equally important as physics. It is important to cover all the subjects with the utmost care and concentration in order to crack the NEET Exam successfully.

To predict your rank in NEET, there are a lot of online websites and resources available. And also, you can check the previous ranks and attended students count and marks obtained per ranks and conduct a mock test by yourself. In this way, you can predict your NEET Marks and rank as well.

Structured Syllabus for Chemistry NEET 2020 Exam

Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure:

According to the theory of Kossel-Lewis Approach to Chemical Bonding, atoms are the key part when forming a complete bond to acquire the electronic configuration of the nearest inert atom of gas (octet rule). This can be completely achieved by gaining or losing atoms or sharing atoms.

Chemical bonding is defined as the attractive forces that hold the various chemical components like atoms and ions, together in a different type of chemical species with a release of energy.

Octet rule: According to this rule (octet rule), during the process of formation of the covalent bond, the atom involves in it attains or acquires inert gas configurations.

Like already said, the atom may acquire this configuration by gaining or losing electrons to other atoms or sharing the electrons to other atoms.

States of Matter: Gases and Liquids:

The matter is the form of whatever the state it is. This matter is exited in three types of sites as gases, liquid or solid.

Solid: This type of solid matter is a combination of tightly formed atoms or particles. The solid-state will retain the state and the particles or atoms in solid-state are not arranged as free to move.

Liquid: Liquid is a type of matter where the particles or atoms are not formed or packed as tightly as in the solid-state. In the liquid state, the particles or atoms are loosely packed to somewhat move around. These particles or atoms present in the liquid state make it possible to adapt the shape of its container.

Gas: This type of matter is composed of packed particles or toms which are freely movable. Like liquid matter, gaseous matter also can adapt to the shape of its container.

Thermodynamics:

Thermodynamics in chemistry is the study of how this work and heat relate to each other. Both in terms of change in state and chemical reactions.

It also concerned with the four particular concepts as internal energy, enthalpy and Gibbs free energy.

These are some of the important concepts from chemistry to prepare for NEET 2020. We hopefully explained the concept in a convenient way and understandable approach. Your concentration plays a key role when preparing for competition exams like NEET.

Preparing for NEET requires extra concentration and effort. From the time of registering for NEET, the efforts and concentration should be increased. Like we said at the starting of the topic, you can predict your own rank in NEET yourself and prepare well by comparing the mock results.

All the best to All the NEET 2020 aspirants !
