How do I prepare for the CGL exam 2021?
GENERAL AWARENESS is a vast section and hence, often termed 'unpredictable' by the aspirants. For the static GK, refer to NCERT books, and for the current affairs part, start reading newspapers. You can also study from Lucent's General Knowledge book for this section.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE & COMPREHENSION is one scoring section provided you prepare. For this, you refer to books by SP Bakshi and Neetu Singh. To improve accuracy in reading and solving comprehensions, do read newspapers, magazines, and editorials.
The REASONING section requires understanding and practice. You can learn several tricks to save time. Solve questions from previous years' question papers by Kiran or Rakesh Yadav. You can go for 'Reasoning by RS Agarwal' book- if you need one.
QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE is a difficult section for many. You have to start with the basics and then go on to practice the questions. Consider NCERT books for the former and Class Notes by Rakesh Yadav or Kiran's previous year's question papers for the latter respectively.
One thing that goes for every section is to develop a habit of taking regular mock tests. It is a very important part of the preparation period. Analyze your mock results and work ok your shortcomings.
