The first step you can take is to leave cramming practice and avoid it at all costs because the goal of studying- literature, science, mathematics or any other subject is not to remember but to understand it deeply and critically.

Secondly, don’t use any multimedia devices if you prefer reading from books and avoid social media breaks if you prefer e-learning. Make sure that the environment is comfortable for studying because a distracted mind will not be of any use.
