Competitive Examinations for Class 5 The following is the list of competitive exams for Class 5: - NSO: The National Science Olympiad is a national level science exam conducted for students from classes 1 to 12 by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Mental ability, Mathematical reasoning, accuracy and speed are its main focus areas. The study matter is based on the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE and ICSE boards, and the top rankers are awarded scholarships. - IMO: The International Mathematics Olympiad is a competitive exam conducted to identify and encourage the mathematical creativity of children, both in India and abroad. All students studying in classes 1 to 12 from recognised schools are eligible. The subject matter is based on the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE and ICSE boards, and the top rankers per class are awarded scholarships. NSTSE: The National Level Science Talent Search Exam is organised by the Unified Council for students from classes 2 to 12. It is one of the most popular scholarship examinations conducted in India. - NSEJS: The National Standard Exam in Junior Science is jointly conducted by the IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers) and HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Examination).
