Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2019 The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL are mentioned blow: 1. Educational Qualifications Candidates who are appearing for SSC CGL should have a Graduate degree in any of the streams on or before 01.08.2019. Candidates who are still in the final year of Graduation can also apply for SSC CGL with their provisional degrees. A) Eligibility for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer  Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute  Other Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics B) Eligibility for Junior Statistical Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum of 60% Marks in Mathematics at the level of 12th standard. OR Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Statistics being the main subject at degree level. 2. Age Limit The age limit has been increased for SSC CGL recruitment but the age eligibility varies from post to post. The minimum age to appear for SSC CGL is 27 years whereas the criteria for maximum age limit is 32 years. Check Your Age Eligibility  For Age Limit 18 – 27 years, Born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991 and not later than 1st August, 2000  For Age Limit 20 -27 years, Born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991 and not later than 1st August, 1998  For Age Limit 20 – 30 years, Born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1998  For Age Limit 30 years, Born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 2000  For Age Limit 32 years, Born not earlier than 2nd August, 1986 and not later than 1st August, 2000 Post Wise Age Limit  In CSS, age limit is 20-30 years for Assistant Section Officer post  In Intelligence Bureau, age limit should not exceed 30 years for Assistant Section Officer post  In Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, age limit is up to 30 years for Assistant Enforcement Officer post  In M/o of Statistics & Prog. Implementation, age limit is up to 32 years for Junior Statistical Officer post  In NIA, age limit is up to 30 years for Sub Inspector post  In CBI, age limit is 20-30 years for Sub Inspector post  In Narcotics, age limit is 18-25 years for Sub Inspector post  In CBEC, age limit is 20-27 years for Tax Assistant post  In Other Departments, age limit is 18-27 years for all other types of posts - Study24x7
