Around a decade ago in December 2006, Virat Kohli the current captain of Indian cricket team was playing a 4-day match for Delhi against Karnataka. He was supposed to resume with the batting the next day when at night 3 AM he received the call stating his father Prem Kohli’s death. His father was bedridden for the past one month due to suffering a brain stroke. Virat Kohli who knew his father’s ultimate dream was to see his son playing cricket on the highest level, resumed with his position as the batsmen in the cricket match the next morning. The score that he achieved in that inning was incredible, which was a straight 90.  After giving his acclaimed performance he went straight to his father’s funeral to serve the last rights. We salute this hero for his dedication to our Indian Cricket Team and wish him a very happy birthday and profound success in the years to come. - Study24x7
