    • The new species of the fish is named as Schizothorax sikusirumensis. It is from the genus Schizothorax. The name of new fish species "Schizothorax sikusirumensis" was derived from the name of the rivers where it was found. The fish species was collected from the junction of River Siku and Sirum. The new fish species inhabit the waterlogged area of torrential river drainage.
