Human trafficking exploits humans by forcing them into sexual and labor slave trades. The International Labour Organization estimates that there 21 million victims of forced labor around the world. All countries are affected by human trafficking, participating as either countries of origin, transit or destination.World Day against Trafficking in Human Persons was proclaimed by the United Nations in 2013.
