PUCET 2020 PG Exam is conducted once in a year by Punjab University, Chandigarh. The main motive of this exam to provide admission to students to different postgraduate programs. It is a state-level exam that witnesses many candidates each year. Panjab University offers thousands of seats to candidates via this exam.

Candidates should check the Online portal of the Panjab University for the release of the online admission form. 



Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern for PUCET 2020 is as follows:

  1. The exam will be conducted in an offline mode.
  2. The duration of the exam will be for 90 minutes
  3. The questions asked in the exam will be based on MCQs.
  4. The total number of questions asked will be 100
  5. The Exam will be conducted only in the English language


Exam Syllabus:

The Exam Syllabus for PUCET PG differs according to the streams for which the candidate has applied to. They should check for the syllabus on the portal of the Panjab University. However, the common topics for all the streams include General Knowledge, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. 


Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the various courses is different. The minimum criteria are that candidates should have completed their undergraduation from a recognized university. For further detailed criteria like aggregate marks, candidates should visit the online portal of the university. 


Application form & Fees:

The application form for the PUCET will be available on the online portal of the Panjab University. The online application form filling has already started on 23rd April 2020 and the last date for the same is till September 2020


The application fees for General Category are Rs.2175 and SC/ST/PwD is Rs.1088. Note that an additional fee of Rs.575 is applicable for each additional course. 


Admit Card:

The Admit Card for PUCET 2020 will be available on the online portal of the university on 1st Oct 2020. Candidates need to login and download the admit card and preserve it as they need to carry that during the exam. 


Exam Centers:

There are a total of four exam centers allocated to the candidates and they can select any center as per their choice. All the four centers are located across Panjab. The centers are Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana and Muktsar. 


Results: 

The result will be declared online on the portal of the Panjab University. The result can be checked by the candidates by logging into their portal and entering their registration number.
