Utkal University is one of the reputed universities located at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Utkal University conducts the Utkal University Entrance Exam each year that is beneficial for candidates as it is one of the best university that provides the best education. The University itself has over 100 affiliated colleges that provide over 100 full-time programs. It is accredited with an “A+” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the university is recognized under University Grants Commission (UGC). They offer various PG courses to students in various streams.

The exam dates for each PG course differ at Utkal University. The online Application form for PG courses starts in May while the application form for M. Phil and Ph.D. starts in August. The M.Tech application forms are available in April.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus: 

The PG entrance is conducted in an offline mode. The duration of the exam is for 90 minutes. The Syllabus of the exam differs according to each PG course. Candidates must check the detailed syllabus for each field of specialization on the Utkal university’s online portal



Eligibility Criteria:

There is a standard eligibility criteria of 10+2+3 that is applicable to all the candidates opting for PG courses. Along with this, candidates are expected to score good marks in the entrance exam. Also, for some PG courses, 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam are held applicable. Application Form & Fees:

The application form for Utkal University PG Admission is made available online on their portal. Candidates are advised to visit the portal and fill-up the form for the exam. The admit card for the PG Entrance is released on the online portal of the Utkal University. Candidates should log in to their website using their credentials and then download their admit cards. 


Cutoffs:

The cutoffs for the PG Entrance will be available online on the official portal of the Utkal University. The cutoffs will be displayed separately as per various courses available. 


Selection Process: 

The Selection Process for Utkal University PG admission is followed by a group discussion and personal Interview round. After clearing the exam with good scores, candidates are called to appear for both these rounds. Based on their performance, they are then selected to take admissions for the PG course they wish to apply.
