The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an exam given by the students in order to qualify for postgraduate degrees like Doctorate of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and many other diploma courses. A student qualifying for these entrance exams may get admissions to many good government or private colleges. 


The NEET PG entrance exam is a computer–based online test which is conducted once a year. Students who have done their MBBS are eligible for applying to this entrance exam. The fee for giving this exam is Rs. 3,750 for the general category, Rs. 2,750 for the SC/ ST and OBC candidates. The exam is of 1200 marks for 3 hours 30 minutes. There are a total of 300 questions.
