Spring is one of the four seasons where days get longer and the weather gets warmer. Spring is the season between winter and summer thus it is a transition period between two major seasons. Spring season months usually start from February and end till May. Although spring is the short-lived season but is known as the king of all seasons as it rejuvenates the entire atmosphere.


With the onset of the spring season flowers start blooming, trees start getting new leaves and the sky starts depicting a clear blue color. Springs season brings joy and fragrance to the atmosphere with the freshly grown flowers.


Also when there is spring in the northern hemisphere, there is autumn season in the southern and vice versa. Spring brings a lot of joy as there is the onset of many popular seasons such as Holi, Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, etc. Spring is the important season for farmers as well as it is the period of harvesting of newly grown crops. There are many health benefits attached to the spring season which we are mentioning below-


Health Benefits of Spring Season


The Spring season not only brings happiness and joy with it but also brings many health benefits. Thus what happens in the spring season with the body always creates confusion among people. However, your body does wonders in the spring season and shows many health benefits. Some of the major health benefits of the spring season are-

Mental boost- The spring season cures depression and anxiety among people which the winter season causes. The Spring season replaces dullness with positive energy.


Maintain Weight- It is natural to gain weight in winters due to an increase in appetite thus spring is the best season to lose weight and maintain a diet.



Regulates blood flow- Winter season slows down the flow of blood in the body due to low temperature however warmth of the spring season maintains the blood flow.

Increase Vitamins level in the body- Spring is the season for ample sunshine thus a good source to maintain a healthy Vitamin D level.

The Spring season is neither too hot nor too cold thus it is a very pleasant time for kids to enjoy. Spring season for kids means playing in a pleasant breeze while enjoying freshly grown leaves and flowers. After a long cold winter season, spring comes up as a relief for the kids as they can play in the beautiful green gardens. There are many prevalent songs and poems in the spring season as well which teaches the beauty of the spring season to the kids.


The Spring season is also known as the season of festivals. As it marks its beginning with the Vasant Panchami festival where people worship the goddess Saraswati and is considered as an auspicious day. Then comes the most celebrated festival in India- Holi. Holi is a festival of colors and sweets and is the most popular among kids as it brings a lot of joy to their lives. The season ends with another famous festival- Baisakhi is celebrated to commemorate the formation of Khalsa. People enjoy parades, share food, and perform traditional dances such as bhangra.

Spring is a season of rejuvenation and rebirth of nature where everyone enjoys the beauty and carries on with a lot of activities easily which is not possible in the winter season. People enjoy the spring season months as compared to other seasons like summers and rainy. Thus people of all ages cherish this season with long walks, fun activities while soaking in the sun. Along with this, the popular festivals attached to this season are nothing less than a cherry on the cake. Thus without any second thought, we can say that spring is the king of all seasons.
